Spark Design Academy - The Kit Breakdown: Inter 3rd 2021-2022

In their latest kit breakdown video Craig Buglass of Spark Design Academy brokedown why Nike's Inter Milan Dri-FIT Adv Third Shirt 2021-2022 received their nomination for Subside Sports Football Shirt Of The Year 2021. "Love it, absolutely love it. I love the graphic, massive shout out to Matt Treasarden." (Senior Design Director, Nike Football Apparel at Nike) he gushed.

"Absolutely one of my favourite kits in many, many years. I only wish that I'd actually designed it." He jokes. "I love the reference to the 91-92 shirt." He says referencing the 1991 away shirt as worn by the like of Andreas Brehme and Lothar Matthäus.

"The feeling of the graphics are just tremendous, they are really nice. There's lovely textures too, it feels really quality. I love this 'Brothers and Sisters of the World,' although I just want to break out into a Spice Girls song to be honest." Craig continues, highlighting the inside-collar pride print with the phrase inspired by the speach at the club's foundation that declared of it's name "It shall be called International, because we are brothers of the world."

"If I was going to be critical, it's printed on quite a light colour, so how this washes down I'm not quite sure. What I would say if you look at the neckline detail where they have obviously welded that together and there's a couple of bar tacks to keep that neck secure, there's a little bit of whitening going on there. You can see the glue shining through. The buttons again like on all the other (Nike) shirts are great."

"So for me I would have to give this probably the highest mark yet! Nine out of eleven." He goes on to explain. "The only reason why I've marked it down, ever so slightly. And this is really difficult, so I appreciate that. But some of the colour matching between some of the graphics and stuff isn't quite right so that's why it's not got a higher mark. But I think a 'nine' for what in my mind will be goin down as one of the all-time great kits of Inter. So well done Nike, fantastic kit."
